When you register for CoachBuddy, we collect:

• Account information: your email address, and (for students) full name, age, and grade/year.
• Parent/guardian information: a parent or guardian email address, provided at registration for monitoring and communication purposes.
• Location information: country and city, to tailor content to your local curriculum.
• Referral information: the email address of anyone who referred you, if applicable.
• Payment information: processed entirely by our payment processor, Lemon Squeezy. We do not directly collect or store your card details.
• Usage data: course progress, module completions, and interactions with our AI tutor, used to track learning progress and power features like the Parent Dashboard.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to: provide and improve the Platform; personalize learning content to the student's level and curriculum; enable parents to monitor progress via the Parent Dashboard; process payments and manage subscriptions; communicate with you about your account, billing, or support requests; and calculate affiliate referral commissions where applicable.

3. Children's Privacy

CoachBuddy is designed to be used by students, including those under the age of 13, under the supervision and with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. We collect only the information necessary to provide the service (student name, age, grade, and a parent/guardian email for oversight). We do not knowingly permit students to interact with anyone outside their household through the Platform, and we do not sell children's personal information. Parents may contact us at phillippe2000@proton.me at any time to review, update, or request deletion of their child's information.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

• Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor, to process purchases and subscriptions.
• Service providers who help us operate the Platform (e.g. hosting, email delivery), under confidentiality obligations.
• Affiliates — limited to confirmation that a referred signup or purchase occurred; we do not share full personal details with affiliates.
• Legal authorities, only where required by law.

5. Data Retention

We retain account and progress information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

6. Your Rights

CoachBuddy serves students internationally, including in the US, UK, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand. By using the Platform, you consent to your information being processed in the United States, where our servers and service providers are located.
